IN BETWEEN by Luciana Righetti

Born in Modena and trained in the humanities between Venice, Naples, Tunis and Lyon, Luciana Righetti has always cultivated a passion for drawing and painting in a self-taught manner. In the midst of her own fifteen years of professional experience in fashion publishing, she encountered illustration in 2003 in Sarmede, where she attended several workshops with Svjetlan Junakovic, Alessandra Cimatoribus, Octavia Monaco and Chiara Carrer, followed in 2008 by the Master’s degree in publishing and children’s art ateliers held by Edizioni Artebambini. He has collaborated as an illustrator with Indigo Film, with the independent music label Kayman Records, with Edizioni Clitt Zanichelli, with Edizioni Artestampa and as an artistic performer with the BIF collective during the 2011, 2012, 2013 editions of FestivalFilosofia. Fascinated by threads and weaves, she began in 2014 to explore the language of weaving, finding in the technique of tapestry a fertile field of research, experimentation and self-expression. He lives and works in Modena.
