REBORN by Cristina Visentin

Born in the province of Verona, Cristina Visentin, has, from a young age, made painting her main form of expression and escape. At only 15 years old, he became passionate about art through the nonconformist and visionary works of Picasso. In his difficult teenage years, he began painting prolifically, thus laying the foundation for his artistic activity. In later years, family commitments took her away from painting, however, causing her to encounter other art forms: sculpture, photography and tailoring. While not holding the paintbrush, he will continue to cultivate an interest in contemporary painters and the pursuit of beauty, in all its forms. In 2003, his creative streak will take on the guise of a chef, once again self-taught, moved by his tenacity and versatility. She thus gave birth to Viridarium, a small but sought-after agritourism in the Mantuan countryside, where she personally oversaw the renovation of the house and where she now cooks for guests as well as grows lavender and herbs.

The year 2020, for Cristina, marks the resumption of her painting production, in a completely new guise, the result of the experiences of the past years. From the work of the past few months, the REBORN collection comes to life.
